A full complement of sibs this weekend! Ellen and I had asked my sister Ann and her husband David to come down from Lynchburg to see the house in progress. When my brother, who is currently in Boone with his wife Sara, said they would come too, he also suggested we ask Barb to fly down from PA for her birthday and the reunion was born. David also has a birthday Monday so we had a double celebration. My niece Betsy, her husband Dan, and our two grand nieces Amelia and Nicola also joined the fun. It was brutally hot, but a great time was had by all and we got the family stamp of approval on the house.
Left to right are David, Ann, Amelia, Dan, Barb, Ellen, Betsy, Me, Nicola, John, and Sara in the dining room.
Ellen and I are both the babies in our family and we anxiously await the Cassilly sib reunion (6) TBD.
In between bites of strawberry shortcake Ellen and I attempted to change the laws of physics by colocating lighting fixtures, plumbing waste lines, and HVAC supply lines in the kitchen. Family is VERY helpful with this sort of thing.
The God I believe in isn’t short of cash.
